I'm currently talking to my employer to issue me a letter for remote work from anywhere. My contract already states "home office from place of residency", but I assume the "place of residency" refers to only my home countries main residency place. The question now is, does that letter to authorize me remote work from anywhere need any specific requirements or wording to be accepted?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When requesting a letter from your employer for remote work from anywhere, specifically in Thailand, it's important to ensure the letter contains explicit language that authorizes you to work internationally, including Thailand. Community members suggest that the letter should specifically state that you can work remotely from Thailand to avoid potential issues with embassy approvals. Additionally, be clear about not interacting with Thai businesses or individuals to mitigate any visa concerns.
Avoid delays and disappointment, say anywhere and include Thailand specifically and also mention that you will not interact with Thai businesses or individuals.
The Embassy in your homecountry, will know about documents normaly issued in that country, and that could make it easier to get documents approved than in a 3 country, that have other norm to business letters.
Some embassies will accept as long as it says you can work remotely internationally. Some embassies will require the letter to specifically say you can work remotely in Thailand.
