ORIGINAL POSTER
I am arriving in Thailand 4 April on a 60 day SETV.

I will be extending it for 30 days while there.

I will be in Yasothon Province the entire time.

Is there an Immigration office in Yasothon? the closest I can find is Roi et.

What documentation do I need to take to immigration for the extension?

I got my visa at Brisbane Consulate in Australia, based on a letter of invitation, I will be staying with a friend ( Thai National) at her house in Yasothon. Does she need to register me as a guest.

Do I need to bring the letter of invitation to immigration when I apply for the extension?

Is there anything else I need to know about?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process of extending a 60-day Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) while staying in Yasothon, Thailand. They want to know if there is an immigration office in Yasothon or the nearest one in Roi Et, the documentation required for the extension, whether their Thai friend needs to register them as a guest, and if they need to present the letter of invitation at the immigration office.
