What are the requirements for applying to the DTV Soft Power program in Ho Chi Minh regarding bank statements and proof of stay?

Iā€™m planning to go to Ho Chi Minh next month and apply for the DTV Soft Power program.

1. My bank account has been open for 6 months, with an average balance of $16,000, though at some points, it had $12,000. If I have around $16,000 at the time of application, would that be sufficient?

2. What documents did you submit as proof that you are in Ho Chi Minh? Would an Airbnb reservation and entry certificate be enough?

Thanks, friends!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant seeks clarity on two main points regarding the DTV Soft Power program: sufficient bank balance and required documents for proof of stay. It's confirmed that maintaining a balance equivalent to 500,000 baht in the last month's statement is necessary, and submitting an Airbnb reservation along with a passport stamp is deemed adequate proof of residence.

That's a better gift than chocolate! Congrats.

Did you apply through the Soft Power program?

By the way, did the embassy ask for any income proof?

Lately, it seems like the Soft Power program is increasingly requiring income verification, so I'm a bit worried....

Anonymous participant they did ask for proof of work and I have explained that I dont work actively anymore but however I still remain owner of my company
