What are the bank balance requirements for a DTV visa application at the Thai Embassy in London?

There is contradictory evidence online about having to have 500,000 THB in a bank for a 3 month period before a soft power DTV will be granted.

This screenshot from the Thai embassy in London doesn’t mention 3 months, just that you can prove you have it in the bank.

As the £300 application fee is non refundable, can anybody be tell me if they have applied in London, and whether showing you have the 500,000 THB in the bank just once at a single point in time is enough please.

Screenshot taken today though it says guidance from 2024.

A recent poster was sent follow up requests from the UK embassy asking for 6 months of statements after he'd already submitted 3 months' worth.

I'm guessing there are a dozen different elements that can make immigration slightly suspicious and demand more documents. The frustrating thing is, you don't know in advance what they are.

Ask directly to the embassy you're applying for, they can tell you for sure how many months of funds seasoning are required, if any.

The Consulate in HCMC also doesn't mention any length of time for the funds to be on the account.

Yeah I got my DTV 1 week ago all you need is 3 months statements stamped and balance for 10 days

London asks for 3 months bank statements to see income but they only require the 500k (£11k) to be there for 10 days. I gave them three months statements but the money was only there at the end.

Embassies very often don't update their requirements online. London has never had a 3 mths seasoning requirement of funds. Recently though applicants have posted a 10 day requirement for funds to be in the account pre application. Someone posted an email from London Embassy confirming this.

I got mine from London.  I only showed balance at time of application.  If you search the group there are plenty of people saying the same about London.  Obviously that is no guarantee, and given the number of people saying other embassies are asking or 3 months then if I was you I would show that anyway if you can...
