# DTV (Application in Vietnam) for Spouses and Children Without a Permanent Residence
My wife has had a DTV visa for a few days now. However, we and our two children are planning to leave Germany permanently on March 2nd to live as digital nomads outside Germany. Therefore, *we will no longer have a permanent residence in Germany*. We are concerned about reapplying for the DTV visa for spouses in Frankfurt, as we only have two weeks left. The processing of my wife's DTV visa took a very long time, and additional certified documents from her company were requested. My questions are:
1) Is it sufficient to simply provide the address of the hotel where we will be staying in Vietnam once we arrive, and to select "Yes" to "Is your permanent address the same as your current address?"
2) Is a passport stamp and confirmation from the hotel, perhaps with photos taken in front of the hotel, sufficient? Or what did you use?
(I haven't found a definitive answer in the group yet, only that everyone mentions two addresses.)
Thank you in advance for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a DTV visa for spouses and children while staying in Vietnam, it's essential to use your hotel address as your current address, and select 'Yes' to indicate this is the same as your permanent address if you no longer have one in Germany. You will typically need to provide a passport entry stamp and hotel confirmation, but photos are not required. Experiences from other users highlight that the dependent DTV visa application process is straightforward and usually does not require extensive documentation.
You apply based on where you are physically located at the time of application, not where you used to live.
If you apply from Vietnam, you use your Vietnam hotel address as your current address. Yes, you normally select that your permanent address is the same if you no longer have one in Germany.
For proof, they typically want:
• Passport entry stamp into Vietnam
• Hotel booking/confirmation showing your name and dates
Photos aren’t required. Just make sure your declared location and your proof of stay match.
DTV dependent is the simplest of all visas. Nothing needed, nothing requested, no documents no interview. Apply anytime anywhere with official relationship documents.
We applied in Laos, ticked no to the permanent address question (because it was a hotel), and used my husbands parents address (in Australia) for the application.
