Hello,

Has anyone ever applied for a DTV visa as a family? Could you tell me what you were asked for?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about applying for a DTV visa as a family. In the comments, multiple members provided insights on the process, indicating that the principal applicant must apply first and then dependents can apply by referencing the principal's visa. Essential documents include proof of relationship (birth or marriage certificates), financial sponsorship (bank statements), and proof of location (hotel bookings or entry stamps). One user reported that the approvals for their family of four took about 6-7 business days with no additional documents requested.

Hi, we applied and got approvals for our family of 4 just recently. I applied first, and once i was approved, we applied for my husband and our sons on separate trips due to my husband’s schedule. We applied in Jakarta, we each got approved in 6-7 business days. No additional documents were asked throughout all 4 applications. We used birth ceritificates for the boys, and our marriage certificate translated into English for my husband. My bank account statements and sponsorship letter from me for all of them. Thankful it was all smooth sailing 🙏🏼

Everyone needs to apply individually. The principal person applies first then the others apply quoting his visa along with the required information

Hi, we are in the process of doing it as a family of 4. You need to do the main visa first and then when you receive that visa, you can apply for the other visas. For the dependent, they ask you to upload proof of relationship (birth or marriage certificate) and the main visa, as well as financial sponsorship and bank statements, and proof of location (hotel booking, entry stamp of the country...)
