Why does everyone seemed to go to embassies that neighbors Thailand then complain how long it’s taking and I’m going back to Thailand and wait which if caught you will be denied,point is just do it in your country

you can't understand why it might be easier and less expensive to book a ticket to laos or Vietnam over the US?

You have to apply through the Embassy in whatever country you are in. Also each Embassy sets their own requirements, so they can differ between Embassies.
