## Dependent Visa Approved in Hanoi (3 working days)
Applied: September 29
Approved: October 2
I applied for a dependent visa through Issa Compass. My spouse has a soft power DTV with Arun Thai Cooking.
A few details:
* I previously overstayed my tourist visa by a few hours
* I previously held a non-B visa/stamp without a work permit (I decided not to work with the company)
* My non-B visa/stamp was automatically canceled when I left Thailand (no need to visit immigration)
Bank Statements:
I provided my personal bank statement showing 500k+ THB for the past 6 months. I also included my spouse’s bank statements, showing 1.5M+ THB.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience obtaining a dependent visa in Thailand, which was approved three working days after application. They previously had an overstayed tourist visa and a non-B visa that was canceled upon leaving Thailand. The user provided personal and spouse's bank statements meeting the financial requirements. A comment raised questions regarding the timeframe of bank statements needed for the application process.
Did they ask for that amount of time for bank statement or what did they require? I’ve been told you can show the current bank statement from Hanoi and not 3 months. Is this true?
