Morning to all of you and greetings from Valencia (Spain), thanks for allowing us to join the group. We are planing to move to Chiangmai within the next weeks.

I am 51yo, and would prefer to applying for the retirement Thai visa, for my son and wife we think about to apply as dependents to my visa. My son is Spanish and my wife is Burmese (1 and 40 years old respectively).

May I ask you to share with us, the contact details of an agent in Chiangmai, who supported you with similar visa arrangements (retirement visa and dependents) and related paper work.

Thanks in advance for your support and do not hesitate to contact me via messenger.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user planning to move to Chiang Mai is seeking advice on obtaining a retirement visa and dependent visas for their wife and son. They inquire about finding an agent to assist with the visa arrangements. A commenter clarifies that it's necessary for the entire family to apply for Non-O visas before arriving in Thailand, and outlines the steps for the son and wife to obtain dependent visas.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES

Thanks Brandon! Clear and very informative. We will check with the Thai embassy in Madrid for the non-O visas (My son is 18 months old).

Your wife and son CANNOT get dependant visa inside of Thailand. You either all need to get non-O visa before you come to Thailand from a Thai embassy, or you need to convert to non-O once you arrive. Wait the 60-90 days for your money to season in your bank account and you to be eligible to apply for the 1 year extension, and then only after you get your 1 year extension can your wife and son leave Thailand to a neighboring country and apply for the 90 day dependant non-O visa there. Then once that stay is running out they can apply for the 1 year extension based on your extension and they will be stamped until the end of your 1 year extension.

It's going to be much easier for them if you all get non-O before arriving to Thailand.

Also your son can only get dependant visa until age 20.
