TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks guidance on obtaining a Non-O-A visa at the Thai Embassy in The Hague, including required funds in a Thai bank account, whether Dutch travel insurance is sufficient, the necessity of a return flight, and overall requirements for application. Comments discuss the possibility of applying from The Hague versus London, necessary documents like background checks and medical certificates, and encourage calling the embassy for clarification.

@Tony *******
, then you COULD use that consulate to get an O-A visa (y) (y)

There is no mandatory insurance (that hasn't passed into law yet), so just meet the requirements they have listed like the police background check, a medical certificate and proof of funds and you should be able to get a year long multi-entry Non-O-A visa from them

It appears unless you hold permanent residence in The Netherlands you can't apply at the consulates there for the O-A visa.

You would need to apply from the thai consulate in London and they went to online application only

And what does the thai consulate in the Hague say on their site about issuing year-long, multi-entry Non-O-A (Long Stay) visas?
