Arrived in Pattaya today at 3 pm. Edinburgh... Doha.... Bangkok...device and food excellent, both plane's seemed not long in service. On arrival as u head for immigration at halfway there was approximately 200 blue seats. U pick a chair , 20 officers were there they get round , check Thailand pass and covid RT PCR test.... Edinburgh and Bangkok strict on it must be RT PCR... As soon as your checked u move on to a checking of your Thailand pass number on a computer ... 6 bays working...then on to normal immigration post . All done from leaving the flight to baggage collect in 25 minutes. 2 plane's in almost same time, my flight 95 per cent full.very effective and efficient service. Before I was one who would say why would tourists go under the regulations..... I come because Iv family and now staying here full time. I was wrong , Thailand under the Thailand pass regulations should not be put off. MY taxi took them 10 mins to organise , they have people at desks dealing with everyone's transport. The j residence hotel I'm staying in for the one day quarantine is a good room , king size bed, PCR test done on arrival at hotel, breakfast, Netflix and balcony. 6500 bt for test and transport included. Close to central Pattaya, near the dolphin roundabout. They can easily be found on Google and if u use messenger text u back and the corresponding is quick. Tried many that just messed me about. Hope this helps anyone wondering how the system runs. Not like me to say.. first class service by Thailand. Never thought I'd say that.
