TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the situation of a person whose Non-Immigrant O visa has expired without a re-entry permit, making them unable to enter Thailand again. The comments emphasize the importance of having a re-entry permit to maintain visa validity and reiterate that once the visa expires, any extensions based on retirement are also invalid.

Yes, apply for a new visa, come back to Thailand. Before end date of stay apply again for Extension of Stay at Immigration and DIRECTLY for an re-entry permit to prevent lost next time if you like to travel.

As martin said. This is an example of the re-entry permit. If you do not have, you have to start with new Non Immigrant O visa again.

The Visa has expired. Your extension of stay based on retirement is also dead unless you bought a re-entry permit when you left Thailand.

Yes, visa expired Nov 6. Unless you have reentry permit for stamp expiring Nov 22, you are out of luck.
