How it is possible to find missing child in Thailand if police don't care and private investigators are so expensive that local people can't afford it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The issue of finding a missing child in Thailand can be complex, especially when police involvement is perceived as lacking and private investigators may be financially out of reach for many families. Several suggestions include reaching out to non-profit organizations that specialize in locating missing persons, leveraging social media for public awareness, and contacting local media to apply pressure on authorities. It's also noted that in some cases, the child may not be missing in the traditional sense, as custody rights can complicate the situation. Those affected are encouraged to explore all available channels, including immigration offices, to gather information about the child’s whereabouts.
have been talking with some of them. But not sure about them also :)

Ask facebook to help investigate. They know everything and even have voice trackers.

A giant photo needs to be posted here. Regularly! I dont think you have done this as yet.

He or she needs to report to immigration so they should have knowledge where he or she might be. If its in a small local place there is more chance of success.

Act as though you are looking for a grain of sand. Media, photos on every sound board, newspapers , embassy houses e.t.c
have done everything I can. But now i don't know what to do anymore. We have tried everything. Feeling hopeless at the moment. That's why I posted that here.

i had an American mate who was detained and his parents were in despair.
The child isn’t missing. It’s with the father. Women give birth. That doesn’t mean they own the child. Fathers have rights to. Maybe the father felt that the child was in a dangerous situation. Is she an alcoholic? An angry person? Sounds to me like she took the child away from the father and he reclaimed the child. If the police won’t help then they know more than what you’re telling them.

Yea the father dosnt own the kid either and you don't know the situation.
even if she wasn't perfect mother at this moment doesn't mean that she can't see his son. It have been about 2 years , and she haven't heard or seen his son. She went court and she have right to get her child , but police doesn't do anything to help her to find father and son.

I would suggest reach out to media houses and post on fb groups. It will create pressure on the police as awareness will increase. Also, hopefully you can have some leads after your post.
if I do that , then it is pretty sure that father is going to hide himself more. He will understand that boys mother is after him and he will hide more deeper in Thailand.

Contact this non-profit foundation. They will check all information before official announcing in their facebook free of charge. The hundred thousands of Thai follow their facebook and a lot of missed children have been found.
. Get a lawyer. If shes desperate and has a genuine concern for the child's welfare, probably only way. 2 years now with no results tells you something. Always more to a story.
yeah, of course I don't know everything, but it is not right that she can't see her son.

Yeah...so it isn't any hope to get legal help from government. Pretty shit situation I would say.
. Yeah, sorry. 100% custody doesnt stop the other parent having access, unless a restraining order is involved, which is almost impossible to get on a parent with a minor child.
. Has every chance, best way is to deal with it calmly and civilly. A manhunt will only make it worse .Let him calm down and when the opportunity comes to make contact, let mother and father sort it out. Theres a reason police are staying at arms length. It's a civil matter, no crime involved. If father tries to flee country with child, contact police asap. Legally child cant leave without mothers permission, wont get through customs at airport/border without written or verbal in person permission from her anyway ,standard law in most of the world.
The reason the police arent helping much may be because technically a child isn't "missing " by law if it is with a biological parent, regardless of custody rights obtained in court. Only time it's ever really pursued is if one parent leaves the country with the child without other parents permission. It then becomes a federal police issue.
Contrary to popular belief, the mother doesn't own the children. The children are also the fathers too. If the police won't help then there's something you're not telling us. Thai police don't mess around when it comes to missing children.
I was reading some articles that Thai police have big problems to find missing children and they haven't any statistics about how many children are missing every year. I am starting to wonder if they really try to find missing children or not.
and I am telling everything that I know. I don't understand....I was thinking also that police is going to help. But after today's visit...I don't see that they will help
