I have a question for a friend that is not on social media.

Her 2 daughters are on multiple entry, 12 month, 90 day border bounce education visas, and mother is on a multiple entry 12 month, 90 day border bounce guardian visa. All 3 have Australian passports and are stamped in until 3rd April...Can she do her 90 day report via the drive through at Phuket immigration? What are her options please?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A mother and her two daughters on multiple entry education visas need to consider their options for 90-day reporting at Phuket immigration. Currently, they cannot utilize the drive-through service for this purpose. They may need to obtain a 7-day extension before leaving Thailand and are advised to avoid overstay fines if the children are under 15. Furthermore, they must prepare for departure by securing a negative Covid-19 test result, health insurance, and considering potential quarantine requirements.

Once she leaves country they will need a Covid19 negative result test that is not more than 72 hours old, she will need a ฿100,000 (฿3.2 million) insurance coverage for each person, a border that is open as well as a 14 day self quarantine in Thailand after arriving and maybe a 14 day quarantine in whatever country they are going to transition through....a slush fund for accommodations and essentials is highly recommended...good luck like Tod said they should have bounced 2 weeks ago

The Australia consulate will do nothing for its citizens, unfortunately that's the way the bkk branch is run.

As far as the kids, IF they're under 15 they can't be fined for overstay and if they're under 18 they can't be banned so if they're young I'd just let 'em overstay.. OR get documents from the school they attend and go covert their year-multi-Non-ED visas to a year extension based on studying here.

I still don't think the Australian consulate is issuing the letters for their citizens to even apply for the 30 day unable to travel due to covid-19 extension yet. :(

She won't be able to bounce she needs to go an obtain the 7 day extension and then leave the country.

Not to pour salt on an open wound BUT they should have seen this shit storm coming last week and bounced out and in when they had the chance before the borders closed :/ They hold year-long, multi-entry visas <- meaning it's unlimited entry and they get 90 days every entry. They should NOT have waited until now to figure something out :(

Sorry about that, hate the message not the messenger.

NO, at this time all they're doing is giving people with year-long, multi-entry visas <- the kind you bounce with every 90 days is a 7 day stamp that gives you a week to get OUT of thailand.
