Hoping someone can provide some advise with my daughters education visa.
She currently attends school in Phuket and holds her education visa (currently 90 day one)
I have now been provided with the updated documents from her school and will be going to immigration next week to start the process of turning her 90 day visa in to the 1 year education visa as we have now reached the 45 day mark.
Few questions for this (I have contacted the school but would like to collate as much advise/information as possible to avoid any mistakes and additional ๐ )
1) Does my daughter need to attend with me?
2) Do I need to provide all same documents as before, so House book, TM30, etc. Or will this stay on the system and can be used again?
3) Will the cost for this still remain as 2000baht?
If there is anything else you can think of that may help me with this, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A parent is seeking advice on converting their daughter's 90-day education visa to a 1-year education visa in Thailand. They have specific questions regarding the necessity of the child's attendance during the extension process, whether previous documents can be reused, and the cost of the visa extension. Community responses confirm that the daughter must attend for the extension and that all new documentation is required for the application, which differs from the initial 90-day visa. The cost for an extension is slightly lower than the initial fee.

Nope all new documents, you are doing a completely different thing and it requires it's own set of documents. You previously applied for a 90 day Non-ED visa, but now you're applying for the extension of stay. The school should tell you the documents you need to get the extension in addition to providing you the documents from them
