Does anyone know if Chaeng watthana in Bangkok is currently (March 2024) doing non-immigrant O visa renewals at 45 days pre-expiration?

Or the normal 30 days?

Trying to confirm without making the trip there.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In March 2024, the Chaeng Watthana office in Bangkok is accepting non-immigrant O visa renewal applications within the last 45 days of the current visa stamp. However, it is advisable to contact the office directly for confirmation and any specific instructions.

The Chaengwattana office accepts extension applications within the last 45 days of your current stamp unless there are special reasons or you get specific directions.

If you want to get a "confirmation", you need to contact them directly.

I seem to remember one of the admins or moderators say it was 30 days at that particular office 🤔

You can ask them directly but the last time I asked a question when I was there I received different answers from different people.

I don't even trust what's on their website to be factual either 🤷

, what we (moderators of this group) know is that, generally, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and some other offices accept extension applications when you have 45 days or less with your current stamp. Most offices allow you to apply for an extension when your stamp remains 30 days or less. We always say check with your local office for exact details.
