I’m due for ACL surgery after an accident & am supposed to do a border bounce in June. I’m not supposed to fly & my 180 days expires 2 months after my surgery date. Is there any other way aside from extending in person? I want to avoid moving money around again..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual needs to perform a border bounce for visa purposes after ACL surgery but cannot fly due to medical reasons. Suggestions from the community include completing the border bounce prior to surgery, using a VIP van service instead of flying, or obtaining a medical extension through a hospital that can assist with paperwork. Some comments suggest that flying post-surgery is feasible and advise doing the border bounce right before surgery to allow adequate recovery time.

You'll be fine after a few weeks

I flew ( short trip with light carryon luggage only) 7 weeks after my knee replacement with no issues Up to you but easier than trying to extend in person from what others have said.

Just go in a VIP Van with a bounce company no flying

Who said you can’t fly? I flew after 10 days of my spine fusion surgery. Border bounce is much shorter than 20 hours in airports and airplanes. 2 months is plenty of time. Athletes fly after ACL/MCL surgery all the time.
Medical extensions are available for most other visas. Surely DTV too if Visa Exempt and Tourist can use them. Some hospitals do all the work for you but thst is the likes of Bumrungrad. All hospitals shoukd be able to provide the paperwork. If you cannot go to Immigration yourself you will have to get someone you know or an agent to process it.
