TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a Mon-O marriage visa past the initial 90 days, you can refer to unofficial resources like the Phuket Immigration Volunteers site which states the financial requirements. You need to demonstrate either an income of 40,000 baht for 12 months prior to application or have 400,000 baht in a bank account in your name for 2 months prior to the application. Additionally, if you are employed, a letter from your employer may be necessary. For official guidelines, the Thai Immigration website provides relevant information that can be located under section 17.

, you do not need that for a marriage visa extension. It isn't even on the list, and has never been mentioned when I got my extensions for any of the last four years.

Remember different immigration offices use their own rules, so there is no fast & clear answer

, also remember that if he is legally working, he will not be on a 90 day type O visa.

Not an official website but set up by the volunteers at the Phuket immigration to advise what you need.

40,000 baht income for 12 months prior to application or 400,000 baht 2 months prior in a bank account in your name only.
