Asking about Single Entry Tourist Visa (Jakarta Embassy)

For anyone who have succesfully applied for Single Entry Tourist Visa, one of the financial requirement is to have AT LEAST 20.000 baht in bank account;

Does this mean, having it at THE DAY of application on printed bank statement -- i can just deposit 20k a month before the bank issues my monthly financial statement

OR

20.000 baht (or equivalent in other currency) must be seasoned/untouched for 3 months prior to submission of application? (And if it is, can it be a TOTAL combined of different bank accounts but still under my name?)

I am a bit unclear about this. Please kindly advice.
Summary so far
The financial requirement for a Single Entry Tourist Visa from the Jakarta Embassy involves having at least 20,000 Baht (or equivalent) in a bank account. There is debate among respondents about whether this amount needs to be maintained for three months prior to application or if it can be a recent deposit made shortly before the application is submitted. Some suggest that a statement showing 20,000 Baht at the time of application is sufficient, while others insist on having the balance proven over three months. Additionally, it is important to have accommodation and a return flight booked.

If you don’t have 20k or more at bank account at any time you shouldn’t travel at all.

These figures are complete nonsense. So someone coming in on a tourist visa for 60 days from the UK doesn't have to show any finances to apply for a visa yet I have to show either 400,000 balance over 3 months or a monthly income of 40,000 to stay just 30 days more on a Non O (RTE London's website).

No, you need to proof that in the last 3 months your bank balance has no less than 20k each months.

You are correct. The idiot who wrote the condition really meant to state:

A single bank statement not more than 35 days old to show more than THB 20,000 balance.

That is exactly why so many people were confused, leading you to say:

I believe the question asked must have been extremely hard for certain people to answer logically.

So go ahead, you can just deposit THB 20k a month before the bank issues your monthly financial statement.

The guy who wrote the condition brainlessly stated: "bank statements for the last 3 months". This made you totally confused. He should be sacked and indeed he must compensate you for causing undue stress .

As you have pointed out, many fools here wrongly understand what is written. They think, being people (of below average intelligence) who read the stated condition: "bank statements for the last 3 months" jumped to conclusion and wrongly gave it the plain English meaning that there must be at least THB 20,000 for the last 3 months and evidenced by bank statements.

You are correct. They are wrong.

Just deposit THB 20k a month before the bank issues your monthly financial statement.

All the best with your application.

OP
I believe the question asked must have been extremely hard for certain people to answer logically.

For the record, i plan to take $8000 with me to Thailand, cash.

I have 5 bank accounts, from 5 different banks in Indonesia. Each account varies the total of saving, range from $300 - 700 max.

I am an old style, i worship cash more than credit cards or internet payment

I have twiced applied for Non-Imm O visa in Thailand, each was asking to SEASON 400k baht ...amount must not be less than that during the consideration period.

Now i am asking, if ...must i SEASON at least $800 in ONE SINGLE ACCOUNT for 3 months, or...can i simply deposit $1000 a month before submission of financial proof.

It says 3 months and you need 20k or equivalent in any currency in your pocket when entering as you could be ask and it’s cash not a bank statement also you should have accommodation booked and a flight out of Thailand book within 60 days the chance of being ask as a GENUINE tourist is very rare but be prepared, enjoy you trip

Without going back to the Thai embassy's website - if I remember correctly the Thai Embassy's website (London) does not specify any income or bank statements required for a single entry tourist visa. Where are you applying from? Note the statement at the top of the photo you posted.

In all seriousness, I’m with the greatest respect if you struggle to meet the 20,000 baht in the bank in your home country ,don’t come to Thailand for a holiday
