What are the financial requirements for a DTV visa for a family of four at the Washington DC embassy?
For those who got a DTV with a family, how did the financial requirements work? Did you need 500,000baht per adult or per family? (Family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids under 10) Washington DC embassy, if that matters.
Answer summary
The financial requirements for obtaining a DTV visa appear to be 500,000 THB per adult applicant. This means each adult in the family of four (two adults and two children under 10) would need to meet this financial threshold individually, rather than dividing it among the family members. It is advisable to verify this information directly with the embassy, as some individuals suggest the possibility of dividing the financial requirements among family members.

I suggest to contact the Embassy.
According the rules on the website each applicant needs to meet the requirements,
BUT some will tell you it is possible to divide the 500.000 thb by your complete family, friends and Facebook users until all of you can apply with 1 Thai baht.
