Has anyone done a large family DTV? Wife, Husband, 3 young kids... Seeing something about 500,000 baht per person is this right? I was always under the impression it is just 500,000 baht for primary DTV holder... thanks
Answer summary
The financial requirements for a large family applying for a Thailand DTV visa can vary by embassy. Some applicants report needing to show 500,000 baht per person, totaling 1.5 million baht for a family of three, while others indicate that only the primary applicant needs to show this amount. Dependents must apply for their own visas, and the financial proof for children may not be strictly enforced. Each case can differ based on specific embassy policies.

Following, as we are also considering the same visa.
File wife and kids as dependant after your DTV is approved. Once your DTV is spproved file application for dependant DTV with marriage cert and birth certs translated with their application
Proof of your funds and sponsor letter saying that you are responsible for them
We were asked for 500k thb proof per person (not just the primary applicant), so for our family of 3 they wanted 1.5mm minimum total balance for the past 3 months of bank statements. I believe this is embassy specific, some only ask for 500k per adult… but 🤷♂️
