Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB, e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter
The financial requirement for DTV Visa is an amount of no less than 500,000 THB, demonstrable through bank statements or sponsorship letter.
If I attach a letter from the bank certifying the total balance, can it be sufficient?
In case the embassy asks for the bank statement, can I send it later?
Could the embassy reject the application if I do not attach the bank statement directly?
Thank you for your opinion!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The financial requirement for the DTV Visa in Thailand is a minimum of 500,000 THB, which must be demonstrated through bank statements or a sponsorship letter. A question was raised about the sufficiency of a bank certification letter, with responses indicating that providing full bank statements showing all transactions is the recommended approach. Submitting only a certification letter may not be accepted by some embassies, potentially delaying processing times if documentation is incomplete.
The bank letter certifying the amount being approved is embassy specific. I submitted such a letter in Taipei and was told they would not accept it even though the website stated it was acceptable. Was told 'we want to see transactions for the 500K" Had to rush to get bank statements printed out.
It's a requirement, you'll only slow down your processing time by not submitting it along with your other mandatory documents. Where do you plan to apply from?
