Just a little something from someone (Canadian / visa exempt) who was on COVID visa since January and did 1 visa run (land / Malaysia) + extension and one visa run (air / Cambodia). The customs officer didn’t like to see half my passport stamped from Thailand since almost a year and told me it was the last time I could do that. Luckily, Thai girlfriend said we’d get married soon (😅), but if you’ve been on COVID visa and extending, you will most likely be stamped 7 days to leave (I dodged it).

Good luck, going to learn Thai next 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian expat shared their experiences on a COVID visa in Thailand, highlighting a recent visa run to Malaysia and an extension. They encountered scrutiny at customs due to extensive stamps from Thailand and were informed it may be the last opportunity for such travel. The expat mentioned plans to marry their Thai girlfriend and learn the language, while comments raised concerns about entering Malaysia and suggested alternatives like an education visa.

very common at Poipet especially. They've even been flat out denying entry to a lot of people with covid extensions.

Malaysia is known for requesting a fee to enter if you have a bad history.
