ORIGINAL POSTER
Approved Workcation DTV in Indonesia

Applied 20th January:

Revolut bank statement, work contract and letter stating remote/not work in Thailand. Passport but couldnt upload full. Balance over 500k baht but not fully seasoned in one account.

Further documents requested 5th Feb:

All passport pages

3 months of statements showing balance requested.

Uploaded personal statement explaining funds transferred from different wallets/accounts. Showed as much as possible but without overloading with pages. Highlighted balances and salary payments on first pages of pdf.

Approved 16th Feb.

Partner also approved. We both wrote sponsor letters for each other, not sure if this helped.

Hers took longer and she had to ping the Facebook page of Thai embassy and they responded quickly.

She had gone from request docs->pending approval->back to to document check

Had to demonstrate her salary, paid in crypto was legit and from her company, wallet address was on her contract and matched her payments.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post details an individual's experience applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad) visa while in Indonesia. They provided various financial documents, including a bank statement and work contract, and addressed additional document requests from the Thai embassy. The visa was approved after addressing concerns related to fund transfers and salary verification. Comments highlight the importance of having proof of the visa upon travel and note potential delays in processing times due to backlog.

Seems that Jakarta may have a backlog with the 4 weeks for processing with several recent reports?

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
