Hi there, I'm a Canadian and is currently residing in Bangkok. I'm looking to apply for DTV and I'd like to check:

Is it possible for me to apply while I'm in Bangkok? 

If not, when I exit from Bangkok, can I apply from another country within Southeast Asia?

What type of residential status do I need to hold in the country I'm applying from?

You cannot apply for DTV in Thailand. Additionally, you must remain in your consulate's jurisdiction until you are approved.

2. Yes you can, vietnam, laos and indonesia is prefered between most people.

3. airbnb, hotel, hostel etc. Does not matter really as long you can prove your in the country when applying.
