If I return to Thailand from Australia anytime from now, I have business visa and work permit, I assume I still have to get negative virus test paper and the $100,000 US medical insurance.

PLEASE READ before you comment

and if you comment please refer to the rules, do not use what fits in your agenda. Airports is not closed, people with a work permit, air line crew, Thai citizens, diplomats and their family and people with a waiver can still enter Thailand.

AND all Nationalities are allowed to LEAVE Thailand.

your question is academic
@Ralphy ****
cos no one (some vital workers exceptions)can fly out of Aus

Seems that people only read half of the official announcements:

From the IATA website,

- This does not apply to passengers with a work permit.

If you're coming, read your insurance's fine print. In general....

You'd need to have purchased travel insurance prior to 21st January to have cover COVID-19. Notwithstanding, some policies prior to this date have pandemic clauses. Even if you're coveted, failure to follow DFAT advice renders policies void. Also, general travel insurance policies do not cover working.

These are clauses in my World Nomads policy.

Unless you have a valid insurance already, you have to. Contact your airline what you require.

I assume you contacted your airline company and asked what is needed to travel to Thailand.
