Hey, guys! I’ve heard that you no longer need to have a Covid-19 test prior to entering Thailand if you have a work permit. Is this true? I am from the US and have a work permit but it expires on May 24 of this year. I’d be traveling with my wife and two kids. Thoughts, concerns, updates?
Trying to make sure I’ve done my homework before in reschedule my flight and begin the journey.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The latest updates indicate that travelers with a Thai work permit do not need to present a Covid-19 test prior to entering Thailand. Instead, a fit-to-fly medical certificate is required. However, if the traveler is accompanying non-Thai family members, those relatives may face entry restrictions. It's essential to verify the current requirements from official sources like the CAAT for the latest travel regulations.
