TLDR : Answer Summary
For Indian passport holders transiting through Bangkok Airport (Suvarnabhumi), a transit visa is not required if you remain in the transit area and do not pass through immigration. However, if you need to change flights and go through passport control, you will need to apply for a visa in advance at a Thai embassy. Additionally, travelers should be aware of COVID-19 related requirements, which may include health certificates and travel insurance. It is advised to verify details with your airline and check any recent updates from the Thai authorities.

that is what I can find...

Again...ask your airline.

It does not appear to be an easy process as pre COVID.

International passengers can transit Surnavbahumi Airport, Bangkok. If your travel to Thailand includes a transit in a non-approved country or territory, your transit in Bangkok must not exceed 12 hours. You must also not pass immigration control. Otherwise, you won't be exempt from the quarantine scheme.Jan 11, 2022

I read this...but COVID may have changed process...

Re: Transit visa for Indian citizen? If you're transiting airside at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) with both the inbound and outbound flights on the same ticket you won't need any form of visa. So as a backup you could carry the means for a VOA though it will unlikely be required.

Off rail info.

If you have to through passport control in Bangkok to change the flights, you also need to go through the requirement to enter Thailand including PCR test, quarantine stay, etc. You sound like needing a bit more homework for your trip.
Robert *******
You're in Taiwan and want to transit through Bangkok airport.

If you stay inside the transit area, no passing Immigration to visit Bangkok, there is no visa and Thailand pass needed.

IF you like to pass Immigration you need a visa and you have to apply at the Thai Embassy in Taiwan.

Other regulations due to Covid are known by the airline company you book with.
Jayanta ********
There is no transit visa system in Bkk. If you do not leave the airport to catch your connecting international flight, then you don't need a visa.
Ellie *******
@Jayanta *******
Thailand has a visa named Transit visa separately from Tourist visa.

There are no changes in requirements to get a visa due to covid.

Please contact VFS in India to apply for a visa and make sure you have the Thailand pass.
