Do you have any trustful resource of information regards to immigration staffs have been proved to be coronavirus positive.
I'm supposed to get there in the mid of Apr to extend my childrens student visas and my guardian visa but not sure if they are open as usual at this stage or future, if they offer a temporary extention under the circumstances.
Any information appreciate🙇♀️ Ka

TLDR : Answer Summary
The immigration offices in Thailand are currently open, but due to COVID-19, social distancing is challenging. Although there are no exceptions for visa extensions at present, individuals are advised to prepare necessary documentation to proceed with extensions when possible. Concerns about exposure to coronavirus among immigration staff and visitors are prevalent, leading to uncertainty about safety and operations. As the situation is fluid, it is recommended to stay updated and consider less populated immigration offices for processing.
There isn't a single source of truth. Whatever the policies are today - will not likely be the same tomorrow. Further, some offices will do some things that others do not.
I would recommend waiting to make decisions as the situation is evolving. If its an option for you, you may want to consider small town Immigration offices over large tourist/population places. BKK, Chonburi, CM - are currently hellish (from what I understand).
AT THIS TIME <- the immigration offices are open and doing business as usual (although jammed with people) I would say prepare your documentation and go when you can to get the ED visa extensions and your 'supporting foreign children in school here" extension.
They wouldn't be at work if they tested positive.. in regards to staff, visitors who may be positive but dont know it yet , its self explanatory.. this is why what they are still doing is a bad idea.
