TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent experiences from various immigration offices in Thailand reveal that applicants seeking Covid-19 visa extensions are being turned away and instructed to return at a later date. Specifically, a user reported being told to come back on the 30th after visiting the Pathumthani office to finalize their extension. Comments indicate similar situations at multiple offices, including Phang Nga and Phuket, where applicants are told their visas aren't ready or to return closer to their expiration dates. This pattern suggests inconsistent procedures across different immigration offices regarding the handling of visa extension requests.

This is turning into a "me too" post. Each immigration office has their own rules. Either return closer to the expiration date, or return when the immigration office asks you to return.

Similar situation in Phang nga immigration. Had to close the loop on 22nd, called to make an appointment but was told that "visa isn't ready yet". The officer told she would call when it's ready.
