Has anyone left quarantine then travelled to Chiang Mai in the last week?

Do you then have to self isolate for 14 days or is it ok it you go directly from the ASQ then you would not have to isolate like has been announced in Phuket?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around whether travelers who leave Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) facilities can directly travel to Chiang Mai without the need for further self-isolation. It appears that if travelers go directly from the ASQ to Chiang Mai, they may not need to self-isolate, similar to regulations mentioned for Phuket. However, those who have plans to stay overnight in Bangkok before heading to Chiang Mai would need to undergo quarantine again. Travelers also share personal experiences with flight cancellations and the evolving regulations concerning travel in Thailand.

I called Bangkok airway but they still can’t confirm if the flights will change again or not. So I am heading to Phuket instead. I have plan to get a document at us consulate in Chiangmai but I need to cancel it because I don’t want to risk again. It was my 2 tickets I have spent too much with Chiangmai. The policy there is not good at all, pushing cost to tourists

TAT phuket are the ones that released info that you can fly to Phuket the day you leave ASQ.

Maybe contact Chiang Mai TAT and keep a check on Richard Burrows page for latest info.

that is the same for Chiangmai no need quarantine if you come the same day that you leave ASQ but if you stay one night in Bangkok before going here, you need to do quarantine again

if you out of the 14 days quarantaene.... You can travel where ever you want... Later is the question if its a red Zone you need to show an other test.. Just go and check if chiang Mai is a RED zone....
Steve *********
Phuket is only requiring quarantine if you arrive from a "red" area.

ok good, you will get the paperwork when you leave the ASQ, just keep that with you for a while. But one lady who got out of ASQ and flew straight to Phuket said they didnt even ask her for that.

if you come from BKK which is in the red area you do but if you come direct from ASQ you don’t, I’m hoping the same rule applies for Chiang Mai
