For those who are unvaccinated, do you need to get a covid test 72 hours before departure or 72 hours before arrival in Thailand? My flight time is 24 hours total and I'm not sure what the cut off point is. Also, how long is it taking on average for Thailand Pass to approve applications? Will I have enough time to get the covid test and apply for Thailand Pass before my flight leaves? Lastly, what exactly does Thailand Pass need in regards to the covid test. A photo of the letter certifying a negative test result? Or something else? My flight leaves from the US on June 26th. Thanks!
TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers who are unvaccinated must obtain a negative COVID-19 test result 72 hours before their first international flight segment. They cannot apply for the Thailand Pass until they have the test result. Recent comments indicate that the Thailand Pass system may no longer be in effect for arrivals after July, but proof of vaccination or a negative test will still be required. It's important to consider that airlines may have their own requirements regarding boarding based on vaccination status or test results.
