Hi all! I am looking for more information about the costs of the 14 day quarantine. In some articles it looks as if foreigners could choose from a state facility or an alternative one (ASQ), but I was told its not. Could it be that it was like that before?

Any info/links about this is highly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks information about the costs of the 14-day quarantine for foreigners in Thailand, specifically regarding whether they can choose between state facilities and Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) hotels. Comments clarify that currently, foreigners can only stay in ASQ hotels, which range in price starting from around 29,000 to 32,000 baht, with varying availability and quality. Mentioned resources include Facebook groups and a blog listing ASQ hotels.

Thais can choose, foreigners can only do ASQ. The cheapest one now I think is 29k, you may have to pay a little more depending on what is available. List here, with some newer ones added:

I have seen the page already, thank you all! I am also worried about the availability.. I am guessing the lowest prices will get booked sooner and I haven't received my CoE yet to book them..

As far as I am aware foreigners can only stay in ASQ. The cheapest I have seen is 32,000 baht and the sky is the limit at the top end. They are adding more locations all the time. Maybe you should join the Alternative State Quarantine Facebook site.
