Is it possible to convert from Non-B/Non-O (existing and active business) to a new Non-0 (Guardian - Seduction) without leaving the country to go through the 90-day VISA application process outside of the country. - Thanks in Advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The possibility of converting from a Non-B/Non-O visa to a Non-O Guardian visa without leaving Thailand primarily depends on your current visa status and the policies of your local immigration office. If you are currently on a 90-day visa, it is not possible to convert it. However, if you are on an extension of stay, you may be able to cancel your existing extension and apply for a new one, but you will need to verify this with the immigration office. It's essential to ensure that you meet the financial requirements for the Guardian visa and obtain the necessary paperwork from an approved school.

Yes you can change the reason of stay in thailand if you are on an extension of stay. You will need to meet the financial requirements for “guardian” visa and the school will prepare the paperwork, as long as the school is one of the approved ones (I would assume so) but remember that first you will need to cancel the existing one and then reapply for the new reason for staying in the country. Go talk to the immigration for the process and also to the school for the new paperwork. Process is different if your children are half Thai have it a Thai nationality or non Thai.

Ask your local immigrations office. I trusted my employer would pull it off as they handled all my visa matters thus far, but they messed it up. Now I'm stuck with just 60 days visit family extension, given as a courtesy by immigrations to compensate for my employer's mishaps.

Ask them very clearly if, and how. It's easy to go wrong.

If you're still on a 90 day visa then it's not possible at all. If you're on an extension of stay it MAY be possible depending on your immigration office. You'll need to ask them if you can cancel your existing extension and apply for a different reason, or if your existing extension is ending then ask them if you can apply for your next extension for a different reason than your previous one.

i am on my second year of Non-B as i am a business owner. The economic outlook doesn't seem so good coming up and i am not sure I can retain 4 employees. As both my children are inschool i was wondering if I could just take up the Non-O on a guardian basis.
