Yes if entering via Bangkok. It’s not so clear if entering via one of the sandbox schemes, but those only require 1 night in the hotel before you can roam the area, but you still have to book 7 nights. More details should make it clearer in the next couple of days.

as far as I can tell from all the reports online then only 1 night booking is required after November 1st. It’s all new so I’m not sure anyone is actually schooled on the whole thing yet but it looks that way so far. Perhaps in a day or two we’ll know more, or at least get more details.
