What are the chances of getting a dependent DTV visa for my wife and children in 2 days?

Approved in Hanoi!

Type: Workcation - Business Owner

Applied: Tuesday Jan 6 @ 2:00AM

Additional Docs Requested: Wednesday Jan 7 @ 11:45AM

Approved: Sunday Jan 11 @ 2:15PM

I transferred the 500k baht into my account a week before I applied so it was on my end of month statement.

For the additional docs they wanted me to submit the business registration of my company and provide some proof of income, and highlight it in my bank statement.

Thanks for all the help from this group!

Now I need to get my wife and 5 children a dependent DTV, but we have flights booked to BKK in 2.5 days. What are my chances of getting dependent DTV approved in 2 days? I've only seen one person post about it happening in 2 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their successful DTV visa approval process from Hanoi for a workcation. They applied on January 6 and received approval by January 11. Now, they seek advice on securing dependent DTV visas for their wife and children just two days before their flight to Bangkok. The community responses suggest it’s highly unlikely to get the dependent DTV approved within that short timeframe, and some advise changing travel plans.

How much funds are you planning to show above the 500k baht you have already shown for your own application?

6 additional approvals in 2 days, ain't gonna happen. Why would you even book those flights in your scenario?

Approved on a Sunday? How is that possible?

Friends of mine got their dependent Visa after 2 days, but in HCMC (first week of January).

Very difficult to get the dependent DTV visa in 2 days. Change your flights ✈️. Stay in Vietnam until the decision is known.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
