Hi everyone,

I recently got my DTV (Workcation/Freelancer category) approved (Ho Chi Minh). I showed approximately SGD 20,000 (500,000 THB equivalent) in my bank statement for my own application.

I am now planning to apply for DTV dependent visas for my wife and child.

My question is:

Do dependents need to show an additional 500,000 THB (or SGD 20,000) each, or is the main DTV holder’s financial proof sufficient for the spouse and child applications?

For those who have successfully obtained DTV dependent visas, how much financial proof did you provide?

I got a dependents visa a few months ago by having my husband as a sponsor and using his bank account with 500,000thb in only his account. I hope this helps

We applied for my husband dependant DTV and had to show his accounts as well. We are from the EU.

You can sponsor them but I read this as saying there needs to be 500k for each applicant whether you sponsor them or not. Perhaps best to check directly with the embassy
