Hey all ! Currently in the states. I’m a Veteran and receive monthly VA benefits. I have the required 500,000 Baht. I’m considering the freelance or soft power DTV. Any insight from other Vets

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is exploring visa options for moving to Thailand, particularly the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) or Soft Power Visa, with a focus on insights from other veterans. Comments from fellow veterans indicate that the DTV process does not significantly accommodate VA benefits, suggesting that filing as self-employed might be a viable path. Additionally, there are discussions regarding incorporating activities like Muay Thai or attending international schools that accept GI Bill benefits.

I wasn’t able to find any evidence that my VA benefits would help me with the DTV, so i filed as self-employed. I’d recommend you go the soft-power route.
