TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is exploring the possibility of switching from a Non-O visa to a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) while living in Thailand, owning a house, and running a business. Comments suggest consulting with Thai immigration or an immigration lawyer for tailored advice, as switching to a DTV may not allow for work in Thailand, and there might be scrutiny in switching from a non-immigrant to a tourist visa.

Honestly, if you quality for a better visa I’d stick with that.

They will question why you want to change from a non-imm to a tourist visa.

But there is technically nothing stopping you from applying, and if they believe you are now a long term tourist you could be fine.

Your best bet is to consult directly with Thai immigration or an immigration lawyer. They can provide you with advice tailored to your specific circumstances, especially regarding your residence status and how it might affect your eligibility or the necessity of switching from your Non-O visa to a DTV. 🙏

My DTV stated that I am not allowed to work in Thailand. So if your business is registered in your name, may not work for you.
