TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the possibility of switching from a Non-O visa to a DTV visa while living in Thailand, where they hold a yellow house book, a Thai ID card issued in Nathon, and have established a business. They express frustration with their current Non-O visa and seek advice on their eligibility to transition to a DTV, particularly in light of their commitment to Muay Thai. Comments suggest consulting with Thai immigration or a lawyer for personalized guidance, noting that a DTV visa restricts work in Thailand, which might affect their current business.

Honestly, if you quality for a better visa Iโ€™d stick with that.

They will question why you want to change from a non-imm to a tourist visa.

But there is technically nothing stopping you from applying, and if they believe you are now a long term tourist you could be fine.

Your best bet is to consult directly with Thai immigration or an immigration lawyer. They can provide you with advice tailored to your specific circumstances, especially regarding your residence status and how it might affect your eligibility or the necessity of switching from your Non-O visa to a DTV. ๐Ÿ™

My DTV stated that I am not allowed to work in Thailand. So if your business is registered in your name, may not work for you.
