I'm applying the soft-power route and was just asked to provide 5-year plan with my application. I think it has to do with how I plan to support myself. Anyone else had this come up? Any advice on what to include in the plan (messaging)?

Answer summary
When applying for the Thai soft power visa (DTV), applicants are often required to provide a 5-year plan detailing how they will support themselves financially without seeking employment in Thailand. Key elements to include in the plan are a cover letter explaining your previous work experience, your intentions to participate in specific activities like cooking classes or Muay Thai, and a disclosure that you do not plan to work remotely. It's important to outline your income sources, whether through savings, pension, or disability compensation, and to demonstrate a clear understanding of how you will sustain yourself during your stay.
