Hi everyone ! I need advice for my next step visa process.

so I am holding ED visa under public university in Thailand for master's degree , and i have visa extension until December 25 2021.

Recently I got a job and I will be leaving Thailand to convert my visa to Non-B in my home country in end of July.

I have asked my university to cancel my ED visa and they said it takes 2 weeks.

so, my question is after my uni cancel my ED what would be the next step? do i have to go to chaeng wattana or I can fly right away to my home country?

thank you !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on an ED visa in Thailand for their master's degree and plans to switch to a Non-B visa after securing a job. They've asked their university to cancel the ED visa, which they were informed would take two weeks. The question is about the next steps after cancellation—specifically if they need to visit the immigration office or if they can depart directly to their home country.

It' doesn't take two weeks to cancel an ED extension :/

You get documentation from the school stating you will stop studying on xx date (usually the date you leave the country)

You take the documents from the school go to the immigration office and cancel your current extension. THEN you can just exit like normal
