Hi!

I have Tourist visa (90 days) and it will expire on febr 6. (In previous year I used the COVID extension but the rules changed. Now need a letter from home country’s embassy in Thailand. But I think they not will give this letter because the most country is open, and no reason why I stay in Thailand.) I want to stay to end of June. Can you give me any advice, or any other visa option?

Please help me what can I do!? Thanks the answers!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 90-day tourist visa that expires on February 6 and wishes to stay in Thailand until the end of June. They mention difficulties obtaining a COVID extension as the rules have changed, possibly requiring a letter from their home country's embassy, which they believe will not be granted. Comments suggest that the user might receive a short extension but ultimately they may need to leave Thailand temporarily to apply for a new visa.

You might or might not be given a COVID extension in February. As for June, after March 25, no one knows anything about COVID extensions or borders. No way to know.

The tourist Visa give you 60 days on entry and an extra 30 days if you apply for an Extension of Stay. If 6 Feb is your last day and your plan was to stay until Jun this year, this tourist visa is not enough.

You might get another 60 days based on unable to travel, but a short holiday abroad to apply for a new visa is most likely the only option.
