My apologies if this has previously been answered. The situation changes daily so I don't really trust much of what I read for now.
I am due a border bounce on a multiple-entry Non O visa based on marriage (from Savannakhet) in the middle of April.
I have British and Irish passports. My current stay in Thailand is in my Irish passport.
Does such a magical place exist?
Option 1: A city that I can fly to, quickly get a doctor's note, and then promptly fly back to Thailand again (no quarantine in destination country). Seeing a doctor in the airport would be a dream come true (possible fantasy).
Option 2: A city that will issue the medical certificate (for sure) after spending two weeks in a hotel quarantine.
My parents are not young so I'm not going back to England and gifting them the coronavirus I picked up on the way. The destination country is irrelevant. Obviously nearer and cheaper is better, but a successful outcome is more important than cost.
I'm aware that I also need decent health insurance. I think I can figure that out easily enough. Self isolation on my return to Thailand is also no problem.
Did I forget anything?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Stay safe. :)
