Hello - very busy days with so many changes by the Thai immigration. I am in the unlucky position of holding an Italian passport and my current non b will end by the 31st of March. All planned and docs ready to apply in Hong Kong as guardian for my son (with regular student visa).
With the new certificate requirement, HK is not a great option anymore so changed our plans to Singapore just 3 hours ago. And now grand finale - VOA canceled for Italy. s. Korea and Hong Kong. ❓ do I understand correctly that now my only option for any visa is to fly to Italy and apply there for any type of visas? = Stay in Italy 14 days, produce an Italian medical certificate a negative COVID19 test and then be home quarantined with the rest of the family? I really hope I am wrong. Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Italian passport holder is facing uncertainty due to recent changes in Thai immigration rules, including the cancellation of the Visa on Arrival (VOA) for Italy, South Korea, and Hong Kong. With the current Non B visa set to expire at the end of March and the inability to apply in Hong Kong due to new requirements, the individual inquires whether they must fly back to Italy to obtain a visa there, complete a quarantine period, and produce medical documentation to re-enter Thailand.
We cautioned you not to go to Hong Kong in your recent posts. Now this. Go get a visa in a nearby country. Meet its requirements. Changes are happening.
NO you can't enter the country WITHOUT a valid visa for thailand. You never had a VOA option for thailand, italians got in on a 30 day visa exempt entry BUT now you need a visa to get in
