Can I do a one-day border bounce to Myanmar with a Non-O Visa in Thailand?

Afternoon all, I’m British on a non - O multi entry and my visa I coming to an end (March 12th) so I want to border bounce before hand and get my last 90 days.

I planned to go to Cambodia today (I usually bounce at Padang Basar, Malaysia crossing), but I was hearing reports about the over night requirements now and someone also mentioned having to fly out and back in in the future and I didn’t fancy taking the risk as I had to be back in Chonburi this afternoon before I travel south and won’t be in Hat Yai until the 31st March.

Is it possible to do a one day border bounce at Myanmar crossing somewhere? Or fly out from Bangkok one night to arrive the following morning?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British expat with a Non-O multi-entry visa is seeking advice on doing a one-day border bounce before their visa expiration on March 12. They are concerned about recent overnight stay requirements at border crossings. Suggestions include using the Ban Laem border crossing in Cambodia or the Phun Nam Ron crossing with Myanmar, with confirmations that one-day bounces are possible at these borders.

You said your visa ends March 12 so you certainly have time to bounce between now and then, Maybe today isn't the day to do it and you can make a plan to bounce at a more user friendly border between now and the 12th.

I planned to go today early from Koh Chang, but I was told late last night about the overnight rules.

It is nearly 15:00 and you plan today a border run to Cambodia and you have to be back in Chonburi this afternoon. Time for helicopters

You can bounce at Myanmar borders in one day. Just stamped out Thailand, stamped in/out (or daypass) Myanmar, stamped in to Thailand.

You can fly out and back on same day other than flying to Siem Reap or Sihanouk.

there are two questions that require an answer at the bottom of the post.

Where I am is currently Chonburi, tomorrow Bangkok and then I am heading south as stated. I don’t think you need to know my exact plans do you?

Google is great, but doesn’t give one on one advise that is concrete.

I’m not near Cambodia now. It needs to be Myanmar or fly out...
