Follow up on The Thai consulate in Bali. It is closed today and tomorrow, but I was still able to pick up my passport with a new SETV. Total time spent dropping off and picking up my passport was maybe five minutes.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post provides an update about the Thai consulate in Bali, mentioning that it was closed for a couple of days, but the user was able to pick up their passport containing a new SETV with minimal wait time. The conversation includes details on the required paperwork for obtaining the SETV, which includes a visa form, flight information, bank statement, and proof of accommodation. Other comments discuss the relative convenience of the Bali consulate for visa applications compared to other locations.
560,000 IDR (40 USD), The visa form, flight info in and out of Thailand, a recent bank statement, and proof of accommodation (a letter from my girlfriend stating she will host me).
I applied Tuesday and collected Thursday (today). They had it posted they were closed Wed-Fri, but since I dropped it off on an "open" day, they let me pick it up on a closed day. I am not sure that is a standard protocol, but at least one other person that I saw dropped off and picked up the same days.
Great to hear you were successful. I had recently booked (12th June) and then cancelled a trip to Bali because of the holiday period; can i ask what day you applied and what day you collected?
I have been getting back to back SETVs for a couple of years now around SE Asia, and even though it is more expensive to go to Bali than it is other countries right around Thailand, none are as quick, easy, and convenient as here.
Yeah. I was nervous about it when he told me to come back today even though they had a sign clearly saying they were going to be closed for the holiday. There was even a hand written “closed” sign on the door when I got there. I rattled the gate a bit, and the guy that works there popped out and let me in and gave me my passport.
