TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation explores various ways to travel from Phuket to Siem Reap, focusing on affordability and convenience. Options discussed include taking a bus from Phuket to Bangkok and then another bus to Siem Reap, which can cost around €50. Some participants mention that this journey can take about 25 to 30 hours. An alternative suggested is flying to Bangkok first and then flying to Siem Reap, though this is not the cheapest. Travelers are encouraged to check platforms like Traveloka for options, and one user confirmed they found a bus service for €44.80.

Return trip from phuket to siam reap under 10,000 bht. Faster more convenient. That's to travel in a few days if you go further out cheaper. Or one way then catch a bus back to Thailand

Morchit station in Bangkok have bus to the border known as Poi Pet.

You then go through immigration and take minivan or bus the other side, about 4 hrs.

Long travelling time but certainly cheaper than getting a last minute flight

Fly to Bangkok then fly to Siem Reip. Not the cheapest but definitely the best.
