Hi everyone!

I’m trying to find a way to purchase a ticket online from Bangkok to Siem Reap (or PP). I’m leaving this Saturday for Tbailand and I need to show a proof of leaving the country within 30 days since I’ll be on visa exemption.

People have told me that they weren’t enough tourists for the bus companies like Giant Ibis or Nattakan so I’m also looking for flights but they’re really expensive. I’m on a budget so I’m looking for 100$ and under.

If any of you have websites or any ideas, that would help me a lot!

Thank you:)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler is seeking advice on purchasing an affordable ticket online from Bangkok to Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, as they need proof of leaving Thailand within 30 days due to visa exemption. Suggestions for affordable options include using websites like 12go.asia and checking Air Asia for flights costing around $87. It is noted that cross-border bus services are limited, but land borders are open. The traveler is looking for budget options under $100.

You need to show evidence of a plane ticket.

Cambodia land borders are "wide open", it's just the cross border tourist buses which are currently not operating because of the lack of customers.

Easy to use the land border crossing but you have to arrange local transportation on either side.

Flight tickets are currently unfortunately much more expensive than pre covid. Even the short flight from Saigon to Phnom Penh is 75$ without luggage.
