My plan to border bounce at Nong Khai today isn't going to happen because I won't have enough time to go to Khon Kaen before the Lao consulate there closes at 4pm. So I bought roundtrip plane tickets from Chiang Mai to Siem Reap (Cambodia), but just realized that the return flight will be stopping in DMK, which seems to be one of the strictest entry points. I only have two entries on my Argentinian passport (and so I'm wondering if they're likely turn me away), and now I'm thinking I want to take a bus/van from Siem Reap to Bangkok. Does anyone know what entry point is least likely to give me problems and whether there's a van service I can use either from Siem Reap or from the border to Bangkok? And what are the hours that the borders are open?
