TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around seeking assistance for obtaining a retirement visa in Pattaya. Multiple users recommend various agencies, including MOTS and One Stop Visa, for their excellent service and quick processing times. Others suggest that the visa process can be straightforward and even manageable independently, advising newcomers to contact local immigration offices directly. Overall, there's a mix of recommendations for agencies and encouragement for self-processing.

I used a visa agent because I place a high value on my time. It was a great decision and I use my agent for all things related to immigration. Not a waste of money at all. Made the process stress free.
especially if you’re making money online maybe in trading etc you can literally make more money while they’re doing it for you and the money you made far exceeds the expenses
I do day trading as a side hustle I want be there during trading hours as the potential to make is during those hours and if you’re not on point you could lose a lot of money but if you know what you’re doing and you’re seeing what’s going on you can rinse and repeat and it’s a lot more profitable than the messily amount it will cost you to use an agent
... Exactly correct, Bill. They just take the stress out of everything. I still take my passport into the visa office for my 90 day report. I could do it online but it gives me something to do and see everyone and catch up.
If you have the time that sounds like a good use of it. My way of handling the 90 day report... Take a trip! I take that obligation as a little reminder to get out of the house and go somewhere. Other than my initial report nearly 3 years ago I've never had to file a 90 day report. But I've got some good travel stories! Going to Phu Quoc later this month. ✈️😁
I’d say most expats in Pattaya would spend their money on 30 baht noodles shoe box apartments so they can afford the degenerate lifestyle of alcoholism and prostitution
